The fifth khan Seyit was the only son of Kenenim. He began to engage in his father’s expedition even when he was a nine-year-old boy. He directed tens of thousands of troops in the battlefield, performing many meritorious deeds in war. His father was quite strict with him. In addition to practising martial arts, he read classical works at his study all day long. He was reciting recondite scriptures on one day when his mother dashed into the study.
She told her son that the khan was about to go on an expedition in the near future. She did know the reason why her husband decided to go out to battle this time. “My dear child, I am worrying about that. Can you ask your father who his rival is for this time?” Chinikei said to his son.
Seyit fully understood what his mother was thinking about. He walked to his father’s yurt instantly. At that moment, Kenenim already put his feet in the stirrups, getting ready for the imminent punitive expedition.
“My respected father. Why are you ablaze with anger? What kind of rebels will you fight against? Why do you set off on your journey alone this time without taking me and other warriors as usual?” asked Seyit.

After learning that the young hero was about to go on an expedition, numerous Kyrgyz people swarmed into the imperial palace to see him off. They raised their hands and prayed to the soul of Manas to bless the young hero.
Clad in the suit of iron armor, Seyit looked as majestic as the towering Mount Tianshan. Such a range of weapons as the long spear, crescent-shaped axe, iron hammer, large bow and silver arrows added enticement to the handsome young hero. Kenenim gained vicarious pleasure from watching people hailing his son with cheerful voices.
Seyit and his horse spent a total of three months before gettign to the lakeside covered with a blanket of green grass.
